DIY Flaxseed Gel

DIY Flaxseed Gel

Are you looking for a DIY flaxseed gel? Look no further. It is simple and fast to make.

There are many gels available on the market, but oftentimes these gels can be drying and make the hair feel crunchy. When you make your own flaxseed gel you can control what goes into the gel that is best for your hair and does not leave the same stiff feeling to your hair.

You will need to buy flaxseed in a 1-2lb bag.

Heat flaxseed on stovetop with water and flaxseed for 7-10 minutes.

Let cool to room temperature.

Strain with cheese net or stocking cap into a container.

Can add essential oils to gel if desired.

You should keep the gel in the refrigerator. Do not keep the gel for longer than a week to make sure that it maintains its freshness.
