Chebe Powder

Chebe is a powder made with cherry seeds, lavender, resin tree sap, cloves, and stones.

Chebe powder has been used for centuries by women in Chad (north central African country) as a conditioner for their hair. It is usually left in the hair over several days (3-7 days) while the hair is worn in braids before it is washed out.

To prepare the chebe powder you will need to add water to make a mud like consistency. You can even add essential oils to add nutrition to the hair.

It will become harder to wash out the chebe powder the longer it is in the hair. You will need to use warm water to loosen the hair mask. Would not leave the powder in your hair for more than a few days. If you have thin/fine hair, you will need to be careful with the use of Chebe powder as it can weigh your hair down and weaken your strands.

You may want to keep the use of chebe powder to once per month or every other month so that your hair gets rests between treatments.
